Drainage systems

The life of buildings, roads and other infrastructure objects is increased by several times on the territory, equipped with high-quality surface drainage and water drain systems. Savings on repairs is shown at the fifth-sixth year of drainage systems - precisely at this time the first effects of improper drainage organization become obvious. There is no flooding of basements and dampening of foundations and plinth of the building, rain and melt water do not stagnate on the inner paths and sidewalks on the territories where the drainage system is properly installed.

Surface drainage - one of the most effective systems. The principle of its operation is quite simple: rain and melt water is coming through the channels in the central sewer system. Drainage channels are usually made of concrete, plastic or composite materials.

Concrete channels are reliable and relatively inexpensive, besides any amount of rain and melt water can drain from the site. Depending on the amount of precipitation and settling characteristics of the territory, various types and sizes of concrete channels are used.

Plastic channels are lighter than the concrete channels, which allow to quickly organize the linear drainage over large areas at low costs. The different types and sizes of plastic channels may be used at different sites.

Polymer composite channels combine the advantages of concrete and plastic channels. They are made from a mixture of mineral fillers: quartz, granite chips and/or sand with a synthetic resin. Such a structure makes channels highly resistant to abrasion. Besides they have a zero moisture absorption and can withstand up to 400 cycles of freezing - thawing and can operate in the most severe conditions up to 50 years. All types of drainage channels are provided special protective drainage lattice, plugs, adapters and required fittings.

Punctiform drainage system is used for local water drainage. The main advantage of this method - the ability to divert water of the specific site of the territory settling. The storm-water inlets are commonly used for the punctiform drainage system. Plastic storm-water inlets are simple and easy to operate. They can effectively remove any quantity of water into storm drains. If necessary, they can be installed one on one another to create a drainage pit. The iron storm-water inlets, which can withstand up to 15 tons, are used for the punctiform drainage system in areas with heavy traffic.

Deep drainage - a system of interconnected tubes located along or around the perimeter of the building and providing water moisture removal off-site. The main elements of the deep drainage are drain pipes. The increased rigidity of the drain pipes attached is provided by the outer corrugated surface. In addition, this type of surface makes the drain pipes very flexible, which is very convenient for installation. Single-walled drain pipes, as the name implies, are single-walled and have the same corrugated surface inside, as well as outside. The two-walled pipes have additional, smooth inner layer. This can significantly reduce the hydraulic resistance of such pipes. Two-walled drain pipes without perforations can be used as a conventional sewer, but at the same time having the flexibility. The drain shafts are used to clean the deep drainage systems. Drain shafts are typically installed at each bend of the pipe, so that the into and outlet sections of pipe can be served through them.
